October 29th saw a terrific event at Crown Towers Perth, celebrating all that WA Hospitality has to offer. Not only were restaurants, chefs, bars and sommeliers the recipients of awards, but also celebrated were the best primary producers the state has to offer, as voted by chef's themselves. Wagin Duck and Game were the winners of Producer of the Year. It was wonderful to see these guys awarded for all their hard work, we're often showcasing their produce on our menu.
Yarri was placed 31st in the top 50 , read the full wrap.
Now in it's second year as an Australia wide guide - the 2019 "home of the hats" Good Food Guide 2019 results were celebrated at Melbourne's Crown on October 8th.
We were genuinely delighted and incredibly proud to be the recipients of Two Hats. Well done to the team.
From The Good Food Guides website " Reviewers arrive unannounced, pay for their own meals and are stringent judges, looking at service, ambiance, the X factor and, of course, the food. Hats are awarded to the best of the best. To achieve a hat is a pinnacle of a chef's career and a restaurant's history, and the term ‘hatted’ has become part of the Australian lexicon. "
Yarri was recently awarded first place in the Modern Dining Category of this West Australian Hospitality Award.
We are delighted to have been included in this institutional restaurant guide.
Quintessential WA - A sense of place. A state of Euphoria..
If Tim Winton wears Western Australia's literary sense-of-place crown, then surely Aaron Carr
is entitled to assume the title of our State's culinary equivalent.

We are incredibly proud to be named in the AFR's Top 100 Restaurants for 2018 - one of only four from Western Australia. We are extremely honoured and would like to congratulate our exceptional team.
Polished and smart food based on a (genuine) commitment to local produce and native herbs and flora. It’s clever food but not cheffy. Delightful, rewarding and enjoyable.
